The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) are positive about simplifications to record-keeping obligations in the GDPR regulation. They have issued a joint opinion on the European Commission's proposal for amendments to certain regulations, welcoming these changes and seeking further clarifications.
